The TrygFonden Centre for Applied Research in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention

has been established to build up a scientific foundation for interventions in local settings. The centre studies the effect of interventions on different groups of the population and identifies the best means of implementing projects using available resources.

The centre will be joining forces with municipalities throughout Denmark to implement a range of nine innovative health promotion and disease prevention projects.
